05Jun2016 - A Drive to Yoho National Park
This day calls for a nice ride on our cabrio up Yoho National Park. Destination: Takkakaw Falls. As it turns out, entry to Takkakaw Falls was still closed. No idea why. But you can't really ignore the other places. Abundance thereof! Beautiful scenery no matter where you are at this region.
We did our leisurely lunch at the Upper Spiral Tunnels Viewpoint just before the falls and then went for a short hike down a mossy terrain down to the river below where Yoho River meets the Kicking Horse River.
We then proceeded to Lake Louise area down to our favorite destination, Morraine Lake. We were surprised as to how low the water level was at this time of the year. As far as I know this area is not dammed. Just all glacial melt!
