While at the Grand Canyon area, a visit to the Antelope Canyon is a must.
The Antelope Canyon is the most-visited and the most-photographed slot canyon in the Southwest America. Located on Navajo land near Page, AZ, it offers two photogenic canyon sections, referred commonly to as Upper Canyon (The Crack) and Lower Canyon (The Corkscrew).
It was already 2PM when we got there, so we just took our time at the Upper Canyon. Lighting inside the canyon was tricky for cameras. Unfortunately I did not know about this: light beams peak through the canyon best between March and October. On winter, light is a little muted. Although I prefer the winter visit for there is less crowd, the next chance around again will be a visit during summer.
The following day we decided to shorten our stay for it snowed more overnight and extended further towards the Canyons. Instead, we headed back to Las Vegas and then to California.
This is definitely one of the most amazing place we've ever been to-- another one crossed out from our bucketlist!
