Sun Nov 27 00:00:00 MST 2016 - 27Nov2016 - Downtown Calgary Evening Stroll

Although a little cold, this evening was still perfect for a photo op at downtown Calgary. Target for the evening: Peace Bridge, for its outstanding and unique architecture. It just calls for a perfect backdrop to a foggy, chilly evening against the city lights.

Sat Nov 26 00:00:00 MST 2016 - 26Nov2016 - Storing the Beast for the Winter

I brought our Porsche 911 to the dealership for its first oil change before I store it for the winter. And apparently, they told me, I must be having fun with the car then because at the rate I am currently wearing my tires out, it won't last me two summers!

Did not even notice it until I looked. Ouch!

Tue Nov 8 22:16:04 MST 2016 - 08Nov2016 - Spectacular Late Drive To Kananaskis

The forecast for the day was a high 20C. However, mother nature seemed to tease us when the morning started to be very cloudy and cold instead. Luckily by early afternoon, the sun started to peek out. So we took this chance to drive up the mountains close by and enjoy a cabrio ride like it is no other summer. And indeed, it felt like summer up in Kananaskis!

It is amazing how fast it got cold while we waited for sundown in Barrier Lake. As the sun went down behind Mount Baldy, we were able to catch a glimpse of a sunset streak that faded out so quick in the horizon.

Sat Nov 5 00:00:00 MDT 2016 - 05Nov2016 - Second Attempt on our Search

We got another call from our local dealership for a particular rig that was high on our list. So this is our second attempt on the search for a motor coach -- and we want to make it right for our first time purchase and get something we prefer and of course something reputable and reliable. We can get picky! The Newmar lineup of motor coaches is on our preferred list. This happens to be the 45-footer London Aire motor coach - a third down from their flagship, King Aire.

This time we brought somebody special with us... and get her opinion. This little princess gives it the thumbs up and even likes to come with us on our trips! She's so cute!
