Sun Jul 29 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - Taking the K12 to Canmore

Instead of taking Highway #1, we choose the very scenic un-twinned #1A route to Canmore. The route from our place starts from Crowchild Trail to the town of Cochrane, to Ghost Lake Reservoir, and unto winding roads and twisties along the Bow Valley River, through the industrial town of Exmore, and then Canmore.

Sat Jul 28 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - Taking the K12 to Bragg Creek

Bragg Creek is about 30Km from our place. It is one of our popular spot for short day trips from Calgary because of its proximity to the Rocky Mountains and Kananaskis Country. It is a scenic drive by the Elbow River.

Sat Jul 21 20:34:13 MDT 2012 - Riding The Kananaskis Twisties

Riding the twisties is more exciting on a superbike - way better than a convertible! Feel the open road, feel the fresh air, feel the rapid rush of white lines, feel free!

There is nothing more appropriate to pair the above than with a 40th Anniversary Alstare Limited Edition GSX-R600. It's basically a race bike but street legal.

To soup up our communication, we equipped ourselves with a Sena Bluetooth Intercom. The headset was crisp and clear on the highway - even with the very gusty day like today - the sound was still clear. The headset can pair with any bluetooth devices, hands-free calls on an iPhone, listen to music, take instructions from a paired GPS, four-way conference/intercom with other riders. Luv this headset! It keeps us communicating all the time while riding!

Sun Jul 15 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - Another Sleepover - Aja at 7 Months

It is always a joy whenever she stays for a sleepover!

She had a long good sleep! Now, it's morning and she needs to be ready for mom and dad. Another cheerful morning for her...

Wed Jul 11 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - Flowers in Full Bloom

The joy of gardening! Flowers in full bloom: lillies, roses, lupins, ground covers...

Mon Jul 9 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - 07/09/2012 - Officially a Gixxer

Ok, got the bike (a limited edition GSX-R600), got me all the bike gears, got me to a motorcycle driving school (gotta learn to drive safe and learn to tame a bike responsibly!), got me my Class 6 License (thank you, Lord), and now I am officially a gixxer rider!

... ready for the open road!

Sun Jul 1 00:00:00 MDT 2012 - 07/01/2012 - 07/02/2012 - Yes to SleepOvers, No to SleepIns

You got that right! Yes to sleep-overs, no to sleep-ins. It is a blast when she spends her day or two at our place. She sleeps well through the night (that's a plus!), but wakes up early at 6:30 in the morning and then starts playing and yapping (she has been always that way; this kid has an internal clock!). Ah well...
